The Place

A family-run restaurant that sits looking down onto the beach. It was established 31 years ago and has always had a menu of Spanish classics (including some amazing seafood). I’ve been coming to Ibiza (and Sa Caleta) for 20 years and it was a love-at-first-sight kinda sitch for both.

The Neighbourhood

On Sa Caleta beach. Tucked away on the south of the island. Right by the airport so if you head down to the beach after dinner it’s actually quite beautiful (really!) watching the lights of the planes flying overhead.

A Good Shout for…

A long, lazy lunch with a view. Or a romantic, candlelit dinner.

The Best Bits

  • As you can see from the photo, the seafood paella is something special. But the whole menu here is amazing. I think even if you just closed your eyes and pointed your finger at the menu, you’d end up with a dish to die for.
  • Sitting out on the terrace, eating al fresco and basking in that sea view.
  • Strolling down the little wooden footpath to the beach after dinner. Even after dark, it’s a totally beautiful, chilled out place to be.
