The Place

I've got no idea why this restaurant is called Knees to Chin. And the girl behind the counter couldn’t tell me either. But I do know that this no frills eatery is a quick, cheap, healthy and fun place to grab a bite.

The venue is part of a small chain of Asian fusion restaurants serving up rice paper rolls. Traditionally Vietnamese (and made at Knees to Chin by Vietnamese chefs) they’re stuffed with a range of zingy, Asian flavours.

The Neighbourhood

In the chic Châtelain neighbourhood, just around the corner from the Made in Louise hotel. Not far from The Barn Bio Market (an organic grocery store) and Toucan Sur Mer (an amazing seafood resto).

A Good Shout for…

A healthy lunch or a takeaway snack.

The Best Bits

  • The great selection of rice paper rolls – veggies, meat fiends and pescetarians all get treated to something exciting.
  • Knowing you’re getting some healthy chow down you. Even if you’re between mealtimes it doesn’t feel too indulgent to pop in for a roll or two. Much better than a waffle or yet another order of frites, right?
  • Knees to Chin is available on Deliveroo so you can get yourself some tasty Asian rolls no matter where in the city you find yourself.
