The Place

I accidentally walked into this place on opening day. And it already had an exciting little buzz about it. Healthy Belly Amsterdam, in the new style of experience shopping, is a sustainable store-cum-café.

And a lovely little space to spend some time in even if you’re not planning on buying anything (although it’s the kind of place where you just won’t be able to help yourself!).

You can grab a coffee and cake whilst browsing for eco-friendly homewares and jewellery. Pick up a book to inspire a healthier you. Or grab a bag of signature granola to take home.

The Neighbourhood

Healthy Belly Amsterdam sits slap bang in the middleof the Nine Streets District. Which means it’s close to pretty much everything.

If you’re staying at Soho House Amsterdam or the Pulitzer you’re just a short walk away. And you’re also very close to a few of my other Nine Streets faves - Kassens, Goodies and The Avocado Show.

A Good Shout for…

Guilt-free shopping, eating and drinking.

The Best Bits

  • The menu. Exciting cuisine including lots of vegan options like cauliflower crust pizza and zingy Thai salad. All the usual suspects are also accounted for. If you’re searching for an acai bowl, an avo toast or some good ole granola, Healthy Belly Amsterdam has you covered.
  • The décor. Healthy Belly Amsterdam has stayed true to its ethos by creating an interior from recycled furniture and wood panels. And then filled the place with plants. But it does eco-friendly with a huge big dollop of contemporary cool.
  • Browsing the selection of RESCUED interior design items. This brand takes shiz nobody wants and transforms it into unique (and beautiful) homewares. Make space in your suitcase!
