The Place

A classy, South-East Asian restaurant set in Stockholm’s now defunct Electric Company building. The eatery embraces its roots with impressive industrial-chic design and a dining room set in the old machine hall.

The Neighbourhood

Busy central district, just on the edge of Vasastan. Close to Humlegården Park and a wide selection of bars and restaurants.

A Good Shout for...

Fusion food from Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia. And an exceptional set menu. Get lunchtime bites Tuesday to Friday. Or opt for dinner on any evening but Sunday.

The Best Bits

  • Walking through the imposing Gotham-City-esque doorway and into the dark, stark, industrial stylings of the dining room.
  • Watching chefs work their culinary magic in the open kitchen, visible from whichever table you sit at.
  • The seven-course, vegetarian set menu (meat and fish options are also available). Every new dish and flavour combination wowed. And I ended the meal completely stuffed. Yum!
